Weathering steel long piles successfully shipped from Xinyue

 In early October 2019, Xinyue received a special long pile inquiry from a South American customer for the purpose of cable car piling. The special point is the material. This inquiry requires that the material steel grade is ASTM A588 Gr.A, which is a weathering steel. Compared with the ordinary long pile material ASTM A252 Gr3, the chemical composition is very different. A variety of alloy elements are added. The production capacity of steel mills has high requirements, because the mechanical properties of steel materials will change after the addition of alloying elements, and steel mills need to have the ability to control. There are only a handful of steel mills in the country that can meet this requirement. Xinyue has always ranked first in quality control. At the end of 2017s, Xinyue had experience in shipping this type of project. Through data certification and material list display, customers expressed their recognition in terms of quality.

After more than a month of negotiations, Xinyue successfully won this project among many competitors in various countries. From the raw materials to the factory, the customer sent a professional TUV inspector to carry out full-scale sample inspection to prove that the mechanical properties of the chemical components are all qualified before production can begin. Xinyue cooperated with the various requirements of the inspectors and successfully started production through experiments.

During the production process, TUV inspectors accompanied the whole process and witnessed various experiments such as non-destructive testing and water pressure. After one to two weeks of production, all the pipes were completed. The customer flew to Tianjin for the final inspection. After the inspection, they were very satisfied with the quality. All the pipes finally caught up with the last ship before the Spring Festival holiday.
