    There are demands for various steel pipes from seamless steel pipe, ERW steel pipe, galvanized steel pipe as well as SSAW steel pipe in market for transportation of low pressure products like water and high pressure products like oil and gas.

    However, no matter which kind of steel pipe we choose from, we know that raw material would play an important role during the steel pipe’s production process.

    1. From the point of welding, the influence of raw material on quality of ERW steel pipe is mainly reflected in welding and organization of materials.

    2. The composition of the elements in raw material would lead to the impact on intensity, hardness. For example, high content of sulfur and phosphorus in the material can easily cause segregation of crystals. And so does for the impact of high carbon content, too large grain size of the metal structure.
